Akron Rubber Development Laboratory (ARDL) announces the addition of Nicole Hershberger in the position of Senior Technical Advisor. Nicole is a graduate of Kent State University. Nicole has 22 years in the rubber industry with experience at Polymerics, Sid Richardson and ARDL. She has specific experience with carbon black, mixing/processing and a wide variety of elastomers.
ARDL is committed to offering the best rubber/plastics consulting services with ten technical advisors on staff with 300+ years experience in the rubber/plastics industry. We are also committed to training several young technical advisors to learn all areas of the rubber and plastics. With many technical specialists in the rubber/plastics industries retiring it is important to train people and pass on technical knowledge to the industry. ARDL offers technical training courses and also participates in the ACS Rubber Division 4 day course, Intermediate to Advanced Compounding which is offered annually in the spring.
